In addition to design and simulation services, our subsidiary Toray Carbon Magic Co., Ltd has full in-house manufacturing capabilities, including our proprietary flexible prototyping system, to enable faster product realization. Our rapid-paced product development and prototyping skills have been honed through our many years of racing car development.

Our subsidiary Euro Advanced Carbon Fiber Composites GmbH (EACC) manufactures lightweight composite components for the automotive industry, using resin transferred molding (RTM) and sheet molding compound (SMC) processes.

In a heritage-protected plant in Esslingen it manufactures products such as carbon fiber engine hoods using methods including preform, RTM press, A-coat, milling machines and bonding robots. The true in-house innovation is the A-coat. This offers reduced cycle times and impressive cost savings while improving the appearance. Painting visible carbon components is very expensive, so EACC use an additional tool and fill the component with a special resin, obtaining a wonderfully smooth surface that only needs to be painted once more. EACC's strength is its automated molding processes that use the best materials for high-volume design and production of CFRP/GFRP components.
