Lightweight

Although the specific weight-savings vary depending on the location, adopting CFRP is expected to roughly halve the weight compared to when a conventional material (such as steel) is used.

CFRP allows for an integrated design, which will likely reduce the number of parts and assembly man-hours required.

Improved Crash Safety

Our original technology reduces the impact applied to the passenger/pedestrian upon crashing.

Improved Vibration Resistance

The use of CFRP improves the vibration damping property and natural vibration frequencies.

Durability

CFRP has excellent material fatigue characteristics (compared to steel or aluminum). It also has excellent corrosion resistance (against rust or deterioration), oil resistance and chemical resistance (excluding certain chemicals).
