Matting

TORAYCA™ matting is a staple-fiber random-orientation mat made from TORAYCA™ yarn.
It has high conductivity, outstanding corrosion and chemical resistance, is easily impregnated with resins and has superior drapability.

End uses include;

  • Prevention of static charge from FRP and flooring
  • A corrosion-resistant filter/mist separator
  • A base material for corrosion-resistant FRP
  • A dust collection pole plate of wet process electrostatic precipitators
  • An FRP parabolic antenna electric wave reflector
  • An electromagnetic shielding material

Corrosion/chemical resistance

TORAYCA™ matting is made using carbon that has been heat-treated at a high temperature, so contains minimal impurities and exhibits excellent corrosion/chemical resistance.
